hi, i think i can help you,

i too am using windows XP - all i did to install UWNH was to unzip the downloaded file into it's own directory and then run the "KOEI" application.

it works quite well, exept there is no sound, and i am having some problems with battles sequences, in particular when dueling - the game tends to crash at that point.

have fun!!

There is a program that make Ms-dos program to link the sound blaster base sound to your XP environment sound cards. Make Dos program to have sound in XP. The name is VDMS, can be found here "http://sourceforge.net/projects/vdmsound/".

Try Dos-Box, a MD-DOS environment emulator, should solve all problem (advanced user only).
Can be found here "http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/download.php?main=1&begaming_website_session=61206f5607a3dfccbe12e7e59e65abb0"
