Post Sword of Destiny

I'm playing as Ali - and Suleiman has requested that I search for the Sword of Destiny for him. I haven't found any clues as to its location - and I've been sailing around the world for a year+ (in-game time.)

I'm growing exceptionally frustrated as I've waited for the black market at every port I've docked in to see if I could find it there. Still haven't yet. I didn't see this item mentioned in the Important Weapons and Items section on the website here... And everywhere else I've searched has been no help.

Any ideas....?? Not sure what to do. :pinch:

this not is a common item. you must search the map in the tabern (treat at the barman) and then, go with the map to a cartographer and he will give you the location where you must search

This sounds like an adventure quest...and you want to be increasing your fame in trade and doing trading missions to increase your favor with the king and advance the game.

finding these items are not easy, you have to match up the bit of map with onscreen. they are usually deep upriver in places like the amazon, mississippi, all of the ones in africa, the yellow river over by japan, the seldom travelled areas. begin doing that

When the Ruler requests you to find an item, such as the Sword of Destiny, the first place you should go is the guild in the same port. When you choose "job assignment" he will tell you where to go next...just follow the clues. Once you have someone 's name, treat at the cafe or pub for more information.

Any information that I provide is based on the SNES version unless otherwise specified. I have thousands of hours into New Horizons and I have played it since it was released in the US on the SNES.

About hidden treasures the king of one of the countries asks. Thus, as is known, level of opening of the character should be high. It is possible to play on search hidden treasures and better in that case, when all map of the world is already open. There was a case, when one king offered me to find three treasures in succession. It is possible also to serve up to "duke" in one country, and then to replace citizenship. Thus it is necessary to attack friendly fleet before reception of a piracy. Further it is possible to ask "defect" for the governor of other country and to begin to receive ranks anew. Probability in this case is great to receive the tasks for opening new hidden treasures. There is one principle. To receive "defect", it is necessary to have popularity in a level of the pirate. The popularity of the pirate should not be higher than a level of opening. The king gives the tasks on one of more popular levels. Probably, various kinds hidden treasures much, it was simple not desires to open all.

Well you don't really need to have a completed map to do a treasure quest. I've played the game so often that once I get the map I usually know right where to go even if I haven't uncovered that area yet.

You don't really have to attack fleets from your country after getting the rank of duke if you want to defect to another country. By the time you can get the rank of duke you will have over 40,000 fame in at least one type and it can be in either of the three types, it doesn't have to be in piracy. You can get the defect option after you have your first rank.

There are a limited number of treasures in the game.
