You've found the legendary kingdom!! :p

It looks like someone renamed a port at some point. It is odd to see the Dec. 0 for the day too.

Any information that I provide is based on the SNES version unless otherwise specified. I have thousands of hours into New Horizons and I have played it since it was released in the US on the SNES.

Initially, I also have not understood, that itself has found. It has turned out so, when playing for Joao I have come in port Massawa at the end of a plot before final fight. Actually, the plot was already strongly twirled, and, as far as I remember in Portugal I received a rank "Duke" already three times.

In streets of port one of the passers - by informs, that now this port legendary capital - Aksum, while the name of port Akusum. Well and date in that time of December 8. Any changes I have not found out, all same. Probably, it is simply one of small secrets of game...

I checked the pc version save with Joao as Duke, after the final battle, and it doesn't change. I'll take your word for it on the genesis version.

I zoomed in on the image and that date still looks more like the zeros in the other numbers than it does the 8 in the gold.

That won't be necessary, but if you want to do one someone might be interested.

Were there any special conditions, like attacking Catalina instead of the pirates or any other type of conditions. I know you said you had received the duke title 3 times, right? How did you go about doing that?

In this case plot occurs at that moment, when Joao it is necessary to be floating in ports of Southern America for last battle. It has turned out so, that I have gone to one of ports, it seems in Margarita and Rocco has informed as usually, that it is necessary to look in a district. Not having waited continuations of a plot, before the second meeting with Catalina and last fight I have left southern America and was directed to Africa, to port Massawa. I have seen in a telescope on Massawa, but was written Akusum. I think, what is it occurs constantly in game, did not pay attention. You see when you receive Staff of Pasedon at Pietro, and then give back him in palace, leave Massawa and there more do not come back. I can only assume, that through small quantity of time port rename, whether but for the present has defined is at Akusum any differences from Massawa. And remember, I asked concerning conversation the passers - by, one of which speaks about legendary capital? Probably, it also is the answer to a question.

Rank "duke" I received at the king of Portugal three times in succession, but I think, what is it does not influence events. After has executed the given rank for the first time, I attacked friendly fleet before loss of a rank, but saving loyalty of Portugal. A bit later king again causes for reception of the first rank "page" and so on. So there were three times. I did it in hope to receive the new tasks to open those " hidden treasures ", which are not yet known. But it is at present vain. Has found out only " Statue With Eyes " and " Jade Table ", which already was mentioned earlier, though I have seen them for the first time. However, I do not doubt, that once nevertheless it will be possible to find something new. For these purposes it is necessary to start a new plot and from a beginning of game all for this purpose to do necessary.

By the way, map. How you think, where it is on a map?

That location is in Australia and that looks like the spot you would find the Kiwi if it is in your game. That would mean that the location is at 13S 139E.

Ok, so you found Akusum before fighting the final battle in Joao's story. Yeah, I knew it was the Massawa port and I've spoken to the wander in that port that mentions the capital of the legendary kingdom. It just doesn't change in the pc version and I haven't checked the snes version yet.

Perfectly! You correctly have specified a place of a presence. And I had long to search.
