About a year and a half - someone had a link to a pc version to the game - but it would freeze after about 2 hours of play - recommended patches were not helpful - has anyone found a recent game version? thanks in advance

Has written down a small video from the just copied version Gaiden. The unusual part of game, while snes and sega of the version is a little bit better because of the translation...

That is a nice looking game and of course you can recognize some of the characters from New Horizons.

Any information that I provide is based on the SNES version unless otherwise specified. I have thousands of hours into New Horizons and I have played it since it was released in the US on the SNES.

Yes, certainly, gaiden reminds new horizons! If to take into account, what is it continuation uncharted waters, which, if I am not mistaken 4 parts, plus such continuation like gaiden. And the first part for some reason to me has not attracted absolutely, did not try at all to study. Who would say, why new horizons how game so is attractive?

I played Uncharted Waters until New Horizons was released. I loved the game, but New Horizons was even better with the six different characters and stories that overlapped. I played the nes version of Uncharted Waters so the graphics were even better in New Horizons. You have a greater variety of ships in NH but that isn't always a good thing.

I played Uncharted Waters on the nes and New Horizons on the snes. I think my favorite port in both games is Nagasaki, if that is what you are asking.

If you are asking about versions of the game, the snes version of Uncharted Waters was a definite improvement. I think it may have been subtitled Sea Prince or something like that. For New Horizons it would be the snes version simply because I have played that for 16 years or more. I am currently playing the pc version for the first time, even though I've had it for about the same length of time. There are some nice things about that version, but the big thing for me is the difference in dueling...I prefer the snes version for dueling. The animation in the pc version is "cute" and maybe even better for the dueling, but I'm not too concerned with animation or graphics for the most part.

My preference from all ports of the world is given back Rio de Janeiro. The reasons the following: in this port the gold and silver, and gold for the small price is sold simultaneously. And if is tax-free permit and high royal rank, is absolutely cheap. In Rio de Janeiro there is "bank" and " house of purchase / sale of subjects " (and it is important). Here never it happens of storm. The district exotic, is possible to float and to open many villages. From port not far up to Europe, therefore it is good trade. However, if to buy here gold in the large quantity, it clean from sale on some time. One inconvenience - port absolutely undeveloped also is necessary a lot of gold and time to finish a level of development up to 1000. In " a building ship " sell galleon and pinnace. Now I do not remember what subjects it is possible to buy in " house of purchase / sale of subjects ".

I always played genesis the version. Not so for a long time has familiarized with snes by the version and has not found basic differences. Little bit other images and musical support. In rest all same. For example, in the version Gaiden on sony playstation there are some other ports and perfect music. However, did not try so to study this version because of not clear to me of the Japanese language.
