The pirates sometimes try to search for you, and thus there can be various circumstances. In the beginning of game, when your character is poor and is undeveloped, the pirates will not pay a lot of attention. Exception can make Khair and Idin, which are always ready to attack if you somewhere linger over.

In the beginning of game it is possible to break of all piracy fleet floating in Europe. Only 9 fleet. In case of their fast destruction the interest to you a little will increase, but it does not mean, that the pirates constantly behind you will float. On confluence of events I have paid attention, what is it occurs more often in 6-7 years. To this time you already will be solvent and advanced, the large fleet and good assistants is not excluded.

If you have a lot of gold and you trade, these moments well will attract of piracy fleet. And if you become their eternal enemy, they will search for you on all map.

And more one principle was noticed by me. Than the map is better open, especially complex ways are chosen by the opponent. When all map is open, the pirates float in all directions. There was a case, when on me tried to attack Idin far from Europe in northern part of Eurasia, where beside ice.

Khayr and Idin take turns, normally, chasing after you. Khayr has a better chance of catching you than Idin, but not by much. They will come after you regardless of your financial condition or how much of the map is uncovered.

It is not unusual to see them anywhere on the map and they always know where you are. They have awesome radar. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Does that mean you were actually able to find her? I was thinking that in Ali's story she was an event and you might be able to see her fleet at that time, but I didn't think you could find her before or after that event in his story.

I've seen this strategy before, but for me it is a lot easier just to trade my way to riches. I actually tried this a few times and the only way that I think you can do this effectively would be by using save states.

If it works for you, great. I have a casino game that I play when I want to "gamble", but I don't find it entertaining or fun in most other games.
