Hey guis I ply this game a little time ago, and just recently discovered this site. I play it on the emulator (WWWOWWWW THIS IS BETTER THAN CHEATS :pinch: ), BUT I still have some doubts:

1-HOW and WHERE do I get Carronades?
2-How do I get caracters like Ad-Din and Raphael Seran for my team?
3-The only buyable skills are the up three?
4-Can I improve Courage?
5-The best trading route is really Athens-Art and Instambul-Carpet?
6-When I sink one guy of some country, ANOTHER just awesome come to replace it!!! If was an Batlle fleet, appear someone which lots of Galleons, and if merchant, which lots of Carracks! Can I do something to stop this?
7-If I sink ships from some country too many times, he will be weakened, right

PLEASE, answer this!!:pinch: :pinch: :pinch: :pinch: :pinch: :pinch:

Well, this topic is a year and a half old, but someone may have some of the same questions, so here goes...

1) That is discussed on the home page, but according to someone looking at the game information the requirements for carronades are: at least 81 luck, at least 901 economy and industry and that is for a "chance" to get carronades. It seems that the better your luck is the better your chance of being offered the carronades will be. Right after choosing "guns" you will get a different message than normal, if you don't get the message then you won't be able to get the special guns. Cancel and select guns again, until you get the special message.

2) The short answer is that you have to defeat them in battle and then find them in a port to recruit them. They may get another fleet before you can recruit them, so you have to try again.

3) You can only buy the celestial navigation, gunnery, and cartography skills. Ali is the only playable character that can end with all the skills. You can get the cartography skills from a few locations, but the gunnery skill is only learned in Hamburg and the celestial navigation is only learned in Naples. You will of course need to meet the minimum requirements for the skills. They will tell you if you need to raise a certain skill.

4) You can improve courage when battling, but it isn't assured. In fact, all your visible stats (except charm) can improve from battle experience.

5) That is the best route, at least for most of the game. One of the people in port may inform you of this, but there are other good routes.

6) When a fleet is defeated for the first time that fleet is replaced by a bigger and better fleet. The new ships will be of a similar type, but bigger. If you defeat a fleet with Flemish Galleons the fleet will have Venetian Galeass in the replacement fleet. If the fleet already has Venetian Galeass then it will have ten of them the next time. That is a good and easy way to get your own fleet of Venetian Galeass if you are good with duels.

7) The best way to weaken a country is to invest in their ports and leave them with only their home port. If you do that they may send battle fleets after you. If you get to the point where you are allied with most of the ports then you will see some strange fleets.

Any information that I provide is based on the SNES version unless otherwise specified. I have thousands of hours into New Horizons and I have played it since it was released in the US on the SNES.

Two not clear questions at me at present.

On russian sites I have read the message that there is ostensibly one more sword, found by the unknown fan of game. Truth whether or not?

Whether has sense to endow the large sums gold on development of geographical opening. And what there can be with these opening, if for example, each month to bring in on one million gold?

There is only one treasure sword in the game, but it does have a different name in the different versions. The names are either Sword of Destiny or Sword of Fate, but they have basically the same description.

Looking at the text dump for the snes, that is the only treasure sword in the list.

Another possibility is that they were talking about one of the swords that you can actually equip. There are several "special" swords in the game that you can equip. The two most popular are the Rune Sword and the Crusaders Sword, but other special swords are the Shiva's Magic Sword, the Magic Muramasa, and the Blue Crescent.

I'm not sure what your second question is, sorry.

You should not need to donate constantly. The purpose of donating at the Round Earth Society (snes version) is to increase your luck. Luck is an invisible stat (for most of us) but according to those that can check the stat here is the way it works, but you should only need to do this early in the game before you have a lot of money.

Donating 51% of your total money will get you a 10 point increase in luck. Most of the main characters start with a random luck stat that can be anything under 100 which is the maximum. For those of us that can't look at the internal game information the only way to know if our luck is at the maximum is to visit a fortune teller. If your luck is at the maximum of 100 she will say, "What a strong fortune, you have nothing to fear". If she says anything else your luck is below 100. There are several things she can say, but if you want the maximum luck that is all that is needed.

Again, you should use the donate early in the game before you have a lot of money. Studying will also increase your luck, but the increase is not constant (or praying in the pc version). In the pc version you will only be able to enter the church or the mosque depending on your character, so you won't be able to use this in every port if playing the pc version.

If you meet one of the ghost ships then your characters luck will drop 30 points.

Luck has an effect on getting the "great selections" at the shipyard and certain other events in the game, but it is possible to play the game without any concern about luck.

I'm not sure I understand your question, but it is possible to see the fleet of another character in your game. This can happen in Joao 's game and in Catalina 's game. I think when you see Joao 's fleet in Catalina 's game he will usually have frigates or barges. I don't remember what Catalina has in Joao 's game, but I will see that soon. I am about to finish Joao 's game on the pc version.

I don't recall seeing the fleet of another character in any of the other games.

On it the image is specified, that there is one more breed of a tree for construction of the ship "steel". Where it to take?
