Use the meet command in the pub, talk to the officers there, and treat them to the pub's specialty four or five times. this sometimes makes them think you like them, so they will leave port in a day or two, then you can knock the crap out of them. Doesn't always work. Otherwise just keep looking at every ship on the water until you find some italians and knock the crap out of them. Make them mad enough and they'll come looking for you to exact vengeance
