dont know when he plans to reply, but to set this:
- rightclick the file you use to run the game eg. koei.com
- select properties (bottom)
- you should see tabs at the top of new window (general;font;memory...)
- select memory

- where it says EMS memory, use that 'dropdown button' to set it to auto.
while ur at it, do the same for XMS.
- press ok

windows if ur a windows user.. linus.. etc.
once installed, its quite simple to use:
eg. your dosgames is in C:/dosg/*.*
run dosbox; type in it:
> mount X C:/dosg <enter>
> X: <enter>
> dir/w<enter>
gives a list of files there
> cd gamefoldername eg. cd uwaters<enter>
> dir/w<enter>
gives a list of files there
> Koei<enter>
will run koei.com or .bat or .exe
simple dos commands..
