Uncharted Waters New Horizons

Hello, I'm new here and have to say this as a great site. I've been a fan of UWNH since it came out on SNES. I haven't seen any one mention this so....

On the SNES Version (Only one I've played) I happened upon this.

Early in the game, in the Carribean, If you go and find Pirate Hamid Lal, Usually in the Tavern in one of the ports. You can't recruit him cause he has a fleet. But I found his fleet has 0 ships.
The trick is you have to wait outside the port he is in for him to sail out. This may take up to 2 months some times. He'll come out a little and head back to port. If you veiw his fleet it will either show Hamid Lal but with your ships, or show now ships, or even cash the game. Anyway, If you attack his fleet, Once in battle, you'll be in conrtol of both Fleets and Hamid's fleet will be identicle to your's. If you sink Hamid's Flag Ship your Defeated, But if you Challenge for a duel (works with either Flag Ship) You End Up DUELING AGAINST YOURSELF! The Non you self will have What ever Hamid has for Weapon/Armer and Whatever you have, you have. I beleive the real you is on the right side in the duel. So, If YOU win the duel, You get to pick up duplicates of whatever ships you had! An easy way to build a fleet of FULL-RIGGED SHIPS. When your picking ships to keep from the battle, It will list the names of your ships in place of the kind of ship it is.

I don't know if anyone else found this or not, but it worked on the SNES and on the SNES emulater on the PC.

I'm curios to know if it's for anyone else.
