Howdy folks, having some trouble here...

Anyone ever get stuck for Adventure fame? I'm playing the SNES version of Joao's scenario, I've found all 49 discoveries and sold them at Bordeaux. Also found (I believe) all of the ports, but my Adventure Fame is stuck at 38410. I havne't an instruction manual and none of the guides I've found list any further way to up my Adventure fame, which I understand I need another 2600 in order to reach the end of the game. Can anyone tip me off as to how I get it over that last bit?

It has been a while since I played, but don't you get adventure fame by uncovering any blacked out area of the map (even if it is just water) and selling it to a cartographer? You may need the cartography training first though.
