to begin with, you have to invest both nagasaki and sakai to 1000 industry. Nagasaki takes like 4 fifty k investments, and sakai takes 3. If you have a good accountant to get the best price, it should take about 180000 to build 1 steel tekk. Of course if you want to add 100 carronades and Goddess figureheads while you're there, you also need 1000 in the economy, and they'll cost sixty grand for the carronades and fifty grand for the Goddess. The best way to do it is build ships in both maxed out ports, take the one from Sakai to Nagasaki and remodel guns and figureheads there for both ships. Nagasaki always seems easier than sakai for getting the best selection of guns and figureheads

the game is great. i played it twice finishing joao and catalina's story line. i first played uncharted waters: sea princess. The graphics arent colorful and the speed of the game is slower compared to UNWH. The gameplay though was addictive(trading, improving fame, infamy, monopolizing ports*evil*). The gameplay in UNWH didnt change though but for me its still addictive, and with the huge change in the graphics , many more story line, many more ports to monopolize, and not so hard maintaining the boat compared to UN: Sea princess(which is the downside for me in the first series).. anyway for me UNWH is the game im still playing in the SNES even though we are in the "blu-ray" age of console games this game isnt easy to avoid!

and BTW your site is really appealing not much color , simple yet appealing!!

I was talking with my friend Matt the other day and just happened to mention the UWNH games that needed translated. He said he has successfully translated several games before using a software program that specializes in such a thing, as well as general know-how...

I may be able to convince him to try the translation of the ISO a site member sent to me, but I don't know if he will be able to do it or not...

Also, while I'm on the subject, to the great site member who sent me the ISO: were you ever able to find the ISO of the other UWNH game to send to me as well??

Is there are any possibility of share the ISO with me?

Hello All.

I was browsing the internet and poking friends to give me a place I could get my Hands on the Magnificent UWNH, and now, the years of waiting are behinf me, and I have reached connection with my long lost childhood game..

And, I got to thank this site for that.

Thanks.

Looking forward for our time on these forums together.

Sailor reporting for duty, sir!

I have loved this game since the first time I rented it. I loved it so much I tried to get them to sell it to me, but they wouldn't. One day I go in, and... you guessed it. They had sold it to 'some guy'.

One day, I will find some guy. Then vengeance will be mine. ^_^
