Post Viewing the map so far

Hello all! I loved UWNH back when I had a Sega Genesis and I was thrilled to find it available to play on my desktop!

I'm having some trouble getting used to the commands. In particular, I'm looking for a way to view my map without going into ports and searching for a specific port. Sometimes I just want to quickly see where I am.

What's maddening is that my cat walked across the keyboard and brought the map up...but I can't figure out which key he hit!

I'm running Snes9x and just playing through my regular keyboard on a Mac.

You can look above the screen and see the menu choices, the third choice is "Input". In that menu the first option is probably "Input Configuration". That will show the keys as they correspond to the gamepad (what keys are actually used for the game). The hotkey for that is hold <ALT> and press <F7>. That brings up the input configuration.

Any information that I provide is based on the SNES version unless otherwise specified. I have thousands of hours into New Horizons and I have played it since it was released in the US on the SNES.

Thank you for that! It was the return key! The configuration was really helpful too, now I can bring up my "how much food is left" screen when I'm at sea.

By the way, you can reset the keys if you want by highlighting the key (clicking the box) and pressing the key that you want to use...if the configuration is a little awkward for you.
