Post UWNH instruction booklet in PDF?

There are at least two things that are incorrect in the manual.
1) The manual and the game says that the chief navigator's stats will increase faster.
The truth is that stat increases are random and you will only get the best stat increases if you save before entering a port and reload if you don't like the increases.

2) The manual says that you will sail faster with the celestial navigation skill.
The truth is that the skill doesn't have any effect on your sailing speed or sailing times. The only one that matters is your character, and half of them come with the skill...but it is still inaccurate.
The only thing that celestial navigation does for you is to keep you from having to choose a mate with the skill when you use the Quadrant/Sextant/Theodolite. I still get the skill because it doesn't hurt to have it and Ali can have all of the skills.

3) In the game a bookkeeper with the accounting skill will use the negotiation skill even if they don't have that skill. Just something to know. 😉

Any information that I provide is based on the SNES version unless otherwise specified. I have thousands of hours into New Horizons and I have played it since it was released in the US on the SNES.
