I've taken a few breaks over the years, but for the first year I couldn't wait to start a new game right after finishing one. I almost always play more than one game when I pick the game up again.

Any information that I provide is based on the SNES version unless otherwise specified. I have thousands of hours into New Horizons and I have played it since it was released in the US on the SNES.

Recently has started game for Ernst. I attack only pirates and I not interfere with the attitudes with other countries. It would be already possible also plot to finish, only map of the world did not open. But has opened much деревень both has engaged in collecting of the debt and has raised glory of opening up to 40000. It is interesting, whether the plot in this case will be completed? 🙂

Ernst's plot will only advance as you raise adventure fame, but there really are only two plot points in his game. The first one when he returns to Amsterdam with adventure fame above 1000 and the last one when his adventure fame is above 40,000.

It looks like you have done well with him as a pirate! 🙂

There is an impression, that at the pirates like the separate state. The sum can speak about it which take away after a victory above one of them. It as well as a national economy, if is well advanced, the sum is greater. Is remembered cases, when for a victory above turkish fleet, it was possible to take away about 140 thousand gold. I by months was on duty near Istanbul not letting out all of their fleet further Athens.

Yes, in a way the pirates are like a separate state.

Turkey would be a good one to do that way, and you get a lot of piracy fame by defeating all their fleets.

One more non-standard idea has come to me in a head. After the fast investments of all ports of the world the kinds of the ships in fleet of all countries vary. You did not try by such method to finish game for Joao or Catalina, when Joao comes on Fregate, and Catalina on La Reale? Whether the structure of the ships in their fleet will change also?

When I finished my last game with Joao, the profit number for Portugal was over 30,000 and the ships had not changed by then. Catalina had a Venetian Galeass and 9 La Reale ships in her fleet. I think Portugal controlled about 64 ports at that point.

I remember, that there was a case when the structure of courts varied when I did not know about a condition of economy of the states. Probably, not only it influences the given phenomenon.

How you can explain the given presence of the ships at the opponent? This time I did not invest all ports of the world. When I have come to "guild" that has found out the following information about "profit" of the countries: Portugal - 4515, Spain - 192, Turkey - 5885, England - 838, Italy - 187, Holland - 909.

When you defeat a fleet that has flemish galleons in the fleet, the replacement fleet will have 10 ships and the ships will be upgraded. The flemish galleons upgrade to the venetian galeass and light galleys upgrade to flemish galleons. It appears that you defeated one of the Spanish fleets or one of the pirate fleets that aren't permanent, and that it originally had flemish galleons and light galleys.

That is another reason that I don't attack fleets that have flemish galleons in the fleet, because if I have to deal with the fleet later in the game I know it will have venetian galeass instead. Any fleet with 10 venetian galeass ships can be a problem.
