You are getting pretty good with the videos! The game looks nice, but I'd still like to know what is being said (even though it is probably only about 10% of the game).

I also thought the main character looked way too young, but then I played an rpg where the main character saves someone in a cave when they are 6 years old. πŸ™„ Really, who would send a six year old into a cave with a sword and a mission to save an adult?!

Sorry, I didn't mean to get off on such a tangent. Good job with the video.

Any information that I provide is based on the SNES version unless otherwise specified. I have thousands of hours into New Horizons and I have played it since it was released in the US on the SNES.

I plan to start a roller also for the original version UWNH for Sony Playstation in a near future. I would like also to issue a material for Snes and Genesis of the versions, but the program of a video of capture does not allow it. Also it would be desirable to increase quality of the images and sound.

What RPG here is mentioned? In Gaiden of the version two characters and both are young in the beginning of game. The actions begin in 1525, instead of in 22.

How has understood from translation the given version of game not absolutely suits you? To Japanese quickly get used, that is in due course do not pay attention on it language. I have taken a great interest Gaiden because of desire to open new pages. It is possible to pay attention to some features. The beautiful clouds are floating in a direction of a wind, and the weather conditions are reflected as well when you are in port. The presence of some buildings are changed. The house Roberto Ezequaer in Seville is absent. Or, for example, Jack Diffson it is possible to employ in the beginning of game in Dublin, and in Nagasaki there is already absolutely other navigator. It fails to invest ports of China (Macao, Zeiton and Changan) for the unknown reasons. For opening villages make out means in Naples and many other things.

I'm just saying that it is more important to me that I know what is going on in the game than it is to see what I consider slightly improved graphics.

That last video was ok to see some of the elements in the game, but I was a little confused with the switching of events and the special effects that you used. I kept up with the video because I know the game well enough, but I'm not sure what the purpose of that video is.

In it of time I did not put a definite purpose for a plot, and wanted only a little to brighten up the arisen monotony. You did not try to play UWNH on Playstation? It I also wanted to find out. It is possible, that the study of this version will be interesting employment.

I don't know what the differences in the Playstation version and the other versions might be, and since the Playstation was Japanese only I wonder if there was a region lock on those games like there were on so many others. In other words, I don't know if I could use my North American Playstation 2 to play the Japanese version of New Horizons, or any of the other Japanese only released games for that matter.

Yes, that does make seeing the videos more interesting.

I welcome!

Not so for a long time has noticed the convenient moment on game. Having the large battle fleet, it is possible to buy separately more meal, and then to type from a coast of water. Water more often happens in zones with vegetation, and in places with sand and in desert water отсуствуСт. In wood district if to you together, that water is not found, it is possible to press "Wait", and then again "Search", from several attempts water will be found in the same place.

I kind of forgot about this site, sorry. I've been playing a lot on armorgames.com.
Anyway I started playing with New Horizon again ( i never really stopped.) Since I finished it so many times, I started using cheats which makes the game a little different. I like the friendship cheat 7EFDE964 (game genie) which allow to search for discoveries without feeding the locals. I also use the fame cheats and the ones that allow to change your character's skills and abilities. In my current game I have Pilly Reis. I had Khayr-ad-din and Ulgu Ali in a previous game.
I read somewhere that it's possible to hire Simon Sekeira but I forgot where I saw that.

Do you have a favorite character?

I'm a little late to answer but I like Otto, Catalina and ALi Veza. The one I like the least is Ernst because I can't get the Tekkousens since he discoveres Zipangu late in the game.

You have to defeat Simon and then find him before he gets another fleet. You also need to have a few ranks and levels, I don't know the exact requirements.

Anyway, the thing about Simon is that apparently when the main character levels and you have Simon as one of your mates he can automatically jump to a higher level or maybe it was the same level as your main character.

I still enjoy using mates that start with lower levels because you can get most of them to 100 in the 4 sailing stats by around level 20. There are mates that won't get to 100 by then, but I don't hire those. πŸ˜€

When you hire characters with higher levels they are more expensive and you have to level much higher (which is harder to do with high levels to begin with) to get good stats.

In most of my games the highest starting level (not counting story characters) of any mate that I hire is 3 for sailing level. Most of my characters have 100 in all the sailing stats by the time they make level 20 or a little higher.

I do often hire Pilly Reis, just because I can. πŸ˜€
