Thanks, I'll find it. I already have quite a few in my list, but I'm sure there are others.

The one at 17S 82W must have something to do with luck, and it is possible that they all are affected by luck. I couldn't replicate that one.

Figureheads do not seem to help for this type of "hazard".

Any information that I provide is based on the SNES version unless otherwise specified. I have thousands of hours into New Horizons and I have played it since it was released in the US on the SNES.

Business in that usually having is a lot of the ships in fleet seldom it is necessary to travel and to swim away in such have given. Usually, playing for ernst or pietro, for example, one ship is used, and on one a vessel this danger will not work. I think, that it is easier to find such places is to use "autosail" (or as she precisely is called). You see all dangers are located on this ways. And these two places were found completely casually. I can only offer (as did not check), that there are some monsters and on poles in ice.

I think that lost a lot in the translation.

It is possible to look for the monsters with the help of a command "autosail". I assume, that there are some monsters in ice on northern and southern poles.

Most of the monsters seem to be near land and away from the ice.

By monsters, I mean things like the Firebirds that you can find in at least 4 locations. They only attack the last ship in a fleet, so you avoid those if you only have one ship in the fleet.

Then there is the giant manta ray, the phosphorescent light, the tornado, the "giant eye" and the ghost ship. Those are the ones I consider monsters or "hazards". By the way, you want to avoid the "giant eye" (north of Goa) because it lowers every mate's courage by 10.

I'm not a fan of "autosail", but since you think that it makes finding those monsters easier I'll have to try it more often.

Here it is possible also to add an attack of the monster near Belgrad, that to the north Istanbul. My interpreter does not allow to deduce her name.

Yes, the mermaids cause about 1/4 or more of your crew to dive into the water. There are at least two locations for them, the one in the river north of Istanbul and there is another near Stockholm.
