Hi, i have found a excellent documentary about the chinese explorations. 1421 : The Year China Discovered the World. Its excellent! It has a great description of the junk treasure ship, the largest wood ship ever build! Here is a link of Wikipedia page of general junks http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Junk_(ship)

In the same film I have also find what could be the inspiration for Pietro Conti, a venetian explorer named Niccolò de' Conti. Interesting fact: de Conti's jornal was dedicated to a man named Pietro Cara,so there you have Pietro Conti. Here is wikipedia page about him:

It is very entertaining. The travels Conti could quite coincide and with game. In the directory the Tiger on a way to Bagdad is mentioned crossing district near the river. In game in port Basra one of the passers - by speaks about city of Bagdad, that near in northeast, and as what to get there in any way it is impossible.

Yeah I'm familiar with Zheng He's expedition. I read a book about it.
He seem to have been all around the World and left some stones commemorating his passage. It seem that he first found the Strait of Magellan as well.

You going to need a specific reader. If you use Chrome, you can add a app call Readium, it works fine.

I've borrowed this book from my public library a few years ago. It's interesting and has some ships pictures. 🙂

I found some new pictures! I will only share the links.
Those were created in the early 1800's but I think they are very relevant.

I know it's not in the UW series but it should have been because of the Knights of St. John.

Very interesting, Thanks.

Any information that I provide is based on the SNES version unless otherwise specified. I have thousands of hours into New Horizons and I have played it since it was released in the US on the SNES.
